Our signs can be made without any drill holes giving them an unbroken, uniform appearance. This finish is ideal if you have a smooth surface such as a mailbox and are unable to make drill holes.

What Do I Need To Mount My Sign Onto a Smooth Surface?

This method of mounting your sign does not require any tools. On the ‘Customize’ page, choose the mounting materials for a ‘Smooth Surface’ and two strips of 3M VHB (very high bonding) double-sided tape will be included with your sign.

How Do I Mount My Sign Onto a Smooth Surface?

Mounting your sign onto a smooth surface is as easy as peeling off the backing of one side of the tape and placing the strips onto the sign. Then hold the sign to the wall, marking the position with a pencil and checking the straightness with a spirit level. Once content, peel off the backing and stick the sign to the wall, pressing gently for 30-60 seconds to ensure that the tape has stuck evenly onto the wall.
