Rectangular Signs
The classic rectangular shapes (KALUNDBORG, VORDINGBORG and others) were the first to find broad usage back in the industrial 1800s. Taking the classic shape of the 19th century street signs that inspired us from the beginning, the rectangular signs are perfect for both text and numbers.
Oval Signs
The ovals (KLINTHOLM, SANDHOLM, and others) on the other hand, are modern shapes that have grown in popularity over the past 50 years. Our oval signs make perfect address plaques due to the large amount of space available to customise. Try placing your house number in the middle of the sign and then add the address text above and below.
Square Signs
Our only square sign, the VORDINGBORG, is our classic house number. If your property number has one or two digits, then our square sign is an ideal way to display it. Like the circular CHARLOTTENLUND, this sign is as high as it is wide, offering a balanced appearance.
Circular Signs
Our only circular sign, the CHARLOTTENLUND was chosen by Knud V Engelhardt in the 1930’s for his characteristic black house numbers. For this reason, CHARLOTTENLUND has become our signature circular design. Compact in size, this sign is ideal for displaying a house number that features 1 or 2 digits.
Arched Signs
The arched, rectangular shape, GRÅSTEN is uniquely designed to incorporate two shapes in one, giving it a distinct charm and decorative appeal.
