We have designed our policies to create the most user-friendly, secure and safe shopping experience for our customers.

Our Products

RAMSIGN produces Danish designed, handcrafted enamel signs inspired by vintage European 19th century street signs. Due to the handmade nature of the signs, minor imperfections may occur. This is normal and must be expected. Each order comes with a design proof and a specialised mounting kit and is covered by our 60 days money back guarantee and lifetime warranty.

Pricing

On this site, our prices are listed in Great Britain Pounds (GBP) excluding tax, duty and delivery charges (unless free shipping is offered). We work tirelessly to ensure that all information displayed on the site is correct. RAMSIGN cannot be held responsible for errors or price changes and we reserve the right to amend such errors in pricing 24hrs of being alerted or after an order has been placed.

Payment

We require full payment of products before we can dispatch the orders. All major credit cards are accepted (American Express, Discovery, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, and Visa Electron) as well as payment via PayPal and bank transfer. If we do not receive the payment for the order in full, the customer will receive a payment request encouraging them to promptly pay in order not to delay delivery.

Import Tax and Duty for Customers Outside the EU

It is possible that orders made from the United Kingdom with a shipping destination outside of the UK may be subject to import tax or duty fees. This would be paid at time of delivery subject to local tax laws. Normally, the postal service used will invoice the customer for the local tax and duty together with a disbursement fee to cover the customs clearance process. If the item needs to be returned, the customer is (in most cases) liable for a tax refund on any duty paid and is responsible for claiming this from the tax authorities. Outside of the EU - Claiming a Tax and Duty Refund

If an order is placed that exceeds the local threshold for taxable goods and tax or duty is levied as a result, then RAMSIGN offers to reimburse the customer of this fee. If this applies to you, please notify us via our Contact Form within 14 days after the tax payment has been made with an attached copy of the tax receipt.

Design Proof and Order Confirmation

Once an order is placed, the customer receives an order confirmation email containing information about the order contents, price and delivery options. If the order is a custom design (not a stocked house number), the order confirmation will also include a digital proof. Unless a response is received by the customer, RAMSIGN will continue with production and complete the order. If the customer wishes to make changes to the design, the customer must reach out within a few days to ensure that there are no delays to the production process. An order only becomes binding upon the receipt of the order confirmation email. RAMSIGN reserves the right to accept or decline any orders.

Our in-stock house numbers are available for shipping within 24 hrs of receiving the order.

Custom Products - Dispatch Time

All custom orders can be manufactured on a timeframe of standard production or express production. If standard production is selected, then the product can be shipped within 4 weeks. If express production is selected, the product can be shipped within 3 working days (guaranteed). Express production carries the fee of 100% of the value of the product and the manufacturing will start the moment the payment has been received. If there is a delay and the express production order is not shipped within 3 days then the customer is entitled to a refund.

Delivery Information

Once RAMSIGN receives the payment, the order gets carefully inspected to ensure that it meets our high standards before being packaged in a cardboard sleeve along with the mounting kit and instructions. If the order is not due to be sent via a courier then the goods are sent using the local postal delivery service. We try our best to send orders of multiple signs together and items that have different delivery times will be sent together at the latest date. It may occur that your order of multiple items will arrive separately due to the different locations of our factories and workshops. There may be times when a significant delay to delivery occurs (eg: if a product is out of stock) but RAMSIGN will contact the customer as soon as possible and offer a solution. If an unexpected error occurs, the customer is eligible to cancel the order and receive a full refund. RAMSIGN will not be liable for any damages or costs caused by the order not being fulfilled or delivered correctly within the anticipated time frame.

Estimated Delivery Time

The delivery time listed includes the production time in addition to the transportation time and is offered as a guide and by no means guaranteed. The production time depends on the current workload at the factories as well as technical and labour circumstances however we work hard to make sure that the whole process is smooth sailing. Transportation depends on your destination and the efficiency of the local postal service. Standard Delivery

All standard shipping within the UK costs £8.69 and it takes 1-5 business days. This is subject to local conditions and is to be used as a guide. For more information please read our Delivery & Returns page.

Expedited Delivery

RAMSIGN offers express delivery within the UK for £102.32 and this takes 1-2 days (estimated, not guaranteed). As the orders with express delivery are shipped using couriers, they require a signature as they are tracked and therefore the customer will need to be at home at the time of the delivery. Delivery can only be made to home addresses and business addresses, PO boxes are not acceptable delivery destinations for security reasons. If you or your designated person are not available the moment the parcel is delivered, the courier may leave an attempted delivery card or will reach out to you to organize a more convenient time for delivery. Money Back Guarantee

The RAMSIGN 60 days money back guarantee allows the customer to return their order within 60 days, no questions asked. This applies to stocked as well as custom designed goods. A full refund minus shipping costs is offered within 8 days of the order being shipped back to RAMSIGN, unused and in the original packaging. If the item is not returned in a satisfactory condition, RAMSIGN reserves the right to refuse a refund. The Ramsign Lifetime Warranty

RAMSIGN products (excluding those with white edges) are covered by a lifetime warranty. This means that the warranty lasts for the lifetime of the customer and if any damages occur as a result of faulty manufacturing then the customer is entitled to a full refund. The warranty is only valid for faults caused as a result of manufacturing and it doesn’t cover all eventualities such as theft, vandalism or faulty mounting. RAMSIGN requires photographic evidence of the damage for a refund to be issued and reserves the right to refuse a refund. Claims & Returns
If a claim needs to be placed or a return needs to be sent, the customer must contact. RAMSIGN within 60 days of receipt for personalised instructions on how to proceed. For claims, it may be necessary to return the sign but most times photographic evidence is sufficient. If the order needs to be returned RAMSIGN will refund shipping costs.

Disclaimer

The site may contain errors, faults and inaccuracies as well as it possibly being incomplete and outdated and RAMSIGN makes no warranties of any kind as to the operation of the site. RAMSIGN takes no responsibility for any damages arising from the use of this site and the external links present. This limitation applies to direct, indirect, consequential, special, punitive or other damages you or others may suffer, as well as damages for loss of profits, business interruption or the loss of data or information.

Viruses

The user assumes all risk and releases RAMSIGN entirely from responsibility for any consequence relating to the use of the site. RAMSIGN does not guarantee that any downloadable material on the site is virus free or will not damage or interfere with data, hardware or software on the customer’s device.

Personal Information

By using the site, the customer agrees to the RAMSIGN Privacy policy as well as the use of cookies. Any information provided to RAMSIGN is used strictly to process the order and will not be used for other purposes unless strictly stated and agreed upon. The information provided must be correct and up to date and if the information provided relates to someone other than the customer permission must be granted to share this information with RAMSIGN. The customer is fully responsible for the confidentiality of their account details and if they believe that their account has been hacked and they are being impersonated they must inform RAMSIGN immediately.

Customer Privacy

Any information shared with RAMSIGN is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders and will not be shared with third parties. It is stored securely and confidentially on Shopify servers and is transferred via encrypted SSL connections). All payment information goes through STRIPE and PAYPAL payment gateways and RAMSIGN does not have access to this information as the transaction is protected by a closed SSL secured (encrypted) connection between the customer and the payment gateway. Third Party Sites

RAMSIGN may occasionally include links to third party sites; this is done only for your convenience and the content on these sites is not endorsed by RAMSIGN. Nor is RAMSIGN responsible for the health of these third party links and consequences that may occur from the use of these sites. RAMSIGN is also not responsible for the privacy practices of third party sites, so please visit with caution and do not provide personal information.

Force Majeure

RAMSIGN is not responsible for delays or failure to fulfil orders as a result of circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights.

All Liability Excluded

RAMSIGN denies all liability for any losses, damages or expenses including indirect losses or consequential damages suffered or incurred by you in connection to the use of the site or content accessed or purchases made through it.
